How do I run counts for a Radius?

Using our web site, you can run counts or purchase mailing lists using a host of different geographic options. One common method is to select a location and specify a radius (in miles) around that location. The steps below outline how to run counts using a radius.
- Select Counts / Mailing Lists from the home page.
- Choose a database that you're interested in, and click Start Count.
- On the Geography page click the Radius button on the right side.
- Now select your starting point by entering an address, intersection, city, or zip code, and click Find. If found, the on-screen map will zoom to your area and place a marker on the exact location.
- If you receive a message stating the address could not be found, you may use the Select Location button to manually click your exact location on the map.
- Once your starting point has been selected, use the Distance drop down list to specify the radius you are interested in. Distance can be selected in 1/4 mile increments.
- The on-screen map will draw a shaded circle to indicate the area you've selected.
- You may then change the default count options, and click Apply to add this Radius selection to your count.
- If you desire, you can add multiple radius selections to a single count.
- Click Update Count to get a count of the total households in your selected area, and/or proceed with adding demographic selections to your count by clicking the Continue button on the bottom right.
- Once you have reached the List Options page, you may change any of the various options by clicking Change next to each one.
- When finished, if you wish to purchase your list, click the Add to Cart button on the button right.
